Getting Started
Using the timer is incredibly simple:
- Set the time: Use the input fields for hours, minutes, and seconds
- Click start button: The timer automatically counts down
- Pause/Resume: You can pause the timer anytime and continue later

Reset: The reset button returns the timer to default values (5 minutes)
💡 Tip: The timer always starts with a 5-minute default value. Set your
desired time before clicking "Start"!
Main Features
Flexible Time Input
Set your desired time in three different ways:

Direct input: Type numbers directly into the fields (0-23 hours, 0-59
minutes, 0-59 seconds)
- Stepper buttons: Use Plus/Minus buttons to change values
- Keyboard navigation: Set the time before starting the timer
ℹ️ Info: Values are automatically validated. If you exceed the maximum
limits, they are automatically adjusted (e.g., 60 minutes becomes 59).
Start, Pause & Reset Functions
Complete control over your timer:

Start button: Starts the countdown. This button switches to "Pause"
once the timer is running
- Pause button: Pauses the timer without losing remaining time

Reset button: Completely resets the timer to 0 and clears audio

💡 Tip: You can pause the timer and resume at the exact same point
later - perfect for interruptions!
Fullscreen Mode for Optimal Use
Use fullscreen mode for distraction-free, large timer display:
- Maximum visibility: Timer is displayed significantly larger
- Fullscreen button: Toggle between normal and fullscreen mode
- Close button: In fullscreen mode, return with a button or ESC key
- Perfect for gyms: Put your device in front of the mirror or on TV!
ℹ️ Info: In fullscreen mode, only the timer display and control buttons
are visible - minimal distraction for maximum concentration!
Audio Notifications
Audio signals to notify you immediately when time runs out:

Melody notification: A pleasant, repeated tone (Do-Mi-Sol arpeggio)
plays continuously
- Automatic notification: Starts automatically when timer reaches 0
- Sound control: Stop the sound by pausing or resetting the timer
💡 Tip: The melody is deliberately pleasant and non-intrusive so you're
immediately aware!
Browser Tab Blinking
Visual signal in the browser tab when timer runs out:

Tab title blinking: Tab title alternates between original title and "⏰
Timer completed!"

Visible in background: You instantly see the timer is done, even if
you're in other tabs or applications
- Automatic stopping: Blinking stops when you reset the timer

Keyboard Shortcuts
